Exports of Mexican products to Canada in August 2012 totalled USD$16.7 billion, amount 9.5 times higher than the trade value registered in 1993 (USD$1.7 billion). There average annual growth rate of exports from Mexico into Canada in the NAFTA era was 12.6%.
